"Humanity" Through the Eyes of a Horse
by Catherine Scott
"In this modern day world our equine companions can be freed from the bondage of history, an existence of servitude, to be considered our equals… our friends. Friendship based on mutual trust and two-way communication, an everyday conversation with a member of a completely different species.
When brutality and all forms of coercion are left behind the horses true nature, incredible intelligence, forgiveness and compassion will shine through.
Knowing the truth of what our friends endure for human pleasure is the first step on this incredible journey. Through the development of a human, we can witness the genius that has always been in the horse.
They are waiting for us!"
Journal and Sketch Book By Catherine Scott
160 page journal and sketch book filled with beautiful photographs of wild horses scattered in between 50 lined pages for written words, ideas, thoughts and inspiration, along with 75 blank pages for sketches.
All profits from this book go directly to DreamCatcher Wild Horse & Burro Sanctuary of California, helping to support the resident animals and the continued effort of reaching out in assistance and raising awareness.
Taking in previously rounded up wild horses DreamCatcher returns them to a life similar to what they experienced in the wild. DreamCatcher has also taken in aged, injured and retired domestic horses from varied backgrounds, some saved right from the slaughter house feed lot. While the main focus of the sanctuary is horses, the fundamental mission is to shed light on and end suffering when and no matter where it is found, therefore the needs of many rejected, abandon and unadoptable dogs are not ignored either.

The Spirit of the horse is unbroken, it is full of power, it is full of wisdom, it is magical. Till the man comes to break it and to use this creature for his own purpose and fulfilling own wishes. There is one way to see and treat the horse — the traditonal way, the way of forcing something from this beautiful animal, what she would not give freely, is she had a choice to expres her own opinion without being forced or punished.
And there is another way... A way of taking time to get to know horse in all her complexity, to bulild up the communication which is based only on free will of the horse, to take oneself back and to listen to the horse — to listen to what horses have to say, to learn from them. And to develop new approach, to develop new way of treating horses, to ask them if they like to do what we desire. It is mutual friendship, it is mutual understanding, it is mutual trust. It is wonderful enriching experience of two equal creatures, when a human does not use supposed superiority, but is able to recognize absolute superficialness of superior thinking and acting.
It is plvs and vltra, it is further beyond everything everything known and done... It is Academia Liberti.
Welcome to our world, where the dream of free horses comes true.
