First of all I would like to say that the main thought which leads me through this text is love that I have towards horses and in general for all animals. I always liked to be with horses even when I was a child. I was as well a hot-blooded rider and was competing in show-jumping (mostly), dressage, military and sometimes in gallop races. Through all that periods it seemed to me that something is missing in whole that story about horses and riders. I was always wondering shouldnt horsemanship and hanging with horses be pleasant, full of love and pleasure, unlike from what i was receiving fear, frustrations, anger, etc. Once my dad bought me one book about natural horsemanship which I have started to read with such passion and in hope that it will help me to improve my relationships with horses. That book didnt just improved my relationships with horses, but it made possible for me to understand the mind of horses. That book forever changed my whole perception of the world. I understand now who is the horse and why are some things like they are. I had continued my pursuit for knowledge about horses, which I think is never enough for me. Especially I have interest for horse psychology and anatomy, as well as how classical riding influences the horse. I have discovered many unpleasant things which refer to horses and people, and I have understood that through whole history horse was treated like just a slave, work force, machine without needs and feelings, like a servant or someone who has to obey to the man. Personally I assume that every living being on this planet is born free and with equal rights and privileges no matter if he is animal or human being, female or male. For me horse is always right which means that I will always reexamine my acts if I found myself in unpleasant situation with my horse. I never ever blame horse for anything because I consider myself as the one who makes faults, furthermore I still have a lot to learn right from a horse. Great masters of horsemanship always say that a horse is the best teacher you can find. Today situation in the world concerning of horses and relationships with them is changing more and more. More and more people are accepting facts that horse is living being too which has his needs and feelings. With work in Academia Liberti I wish to contribute in developing of equine science, I wish to contribute in spreading of knowledge about horses and teaching them in liberty through whole wide world. To give people insight in horses feelings, their mind, how they learn, etc. My goal is to educate myself as much as possible about horse organism and his psyche, as well as to educate plenty of people with proven facts about horses, so we can boldly step in to make a better world for horses. Truly I believe that day will come when all kinds of painful and barbaric manipulations of horses which inflicts pain and trauma in horses body will be nothing more but past.
